Key responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and scale Siemens Teamcenter environments to support engineering and manufacturing operations.

  • Troubleshoot Teamcenter issues impacting workflows, releases, data integrity, and system integrations.

  • Support engineering teams in creating, managing, and releasing product data, and optimize workflows and processes.

Job description

Hermeus is a venture-backed defense aviation company reclaiming the lost art of rapid iterative prototyping to build the fastest aircraft in the world today. By prioritizing relentless hardware iteration, we deliver high-speed systems at the pace of the modern battlefield. We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.

About The Role:

As a Teamcenter Systems Administrator, you will support and scale our Siemens Teamcenter environment across Engineering and Manufacturing operations. This is a highly operational, user-facing role focused on Teamcenter administration, engineering workflow support, release management, troubleshooting, engineering data integrity, and continuous process improvement. While the role will support Siemens NX users and CAD-related workflows, the primary focus is Teamcenter operations and enabling efficient engineering data management across the organization.

You will work directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Digital Operations teams to ensure Teamcenter remains reliable, scalable, and operationally effective as the company continues to grow. This is not a passive ticket-based support role. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting complex operational issues, observing real user behavior, improving workflows, supporting releases, administering system configurations, and proactively identifying opportunities to reduce engineering friction and improving processes.

Responsibilities: Teamcenter Administration & Operational Support
  • Configure, maintain, and scale Siemens Teamcenter environments to support a rapidly growing engineering organization
  • Manage users, groups, roles, permissions, access controls, and environment configuration across evolving business needs
  • Support and continuously improve Item, Item Revision, Dataset, BOM, and workflow management processes
  • Troubleshoot Teamcenter issues impacting engineering workflows, releases, ownership, access, integrations, and data integrity
  • Support engineering release workflows, approvals, status management, and change management processes while helping mature future-state release strategies
  • Analyze system logs, workflow failures, and operational issues to identify root causes and implement scalable corrective actions
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical and operational challenges
  • Support Teamcenter upgrades, deployments, environment validation, and long-term platform roadmap initiatives
  • Assist with Dispatcher-related troubleshooting and automated file generation processes (PDF, DXF, STEP, JT)
  • Participate in evaluating and implementing new Teamcenter capabilities, modules, and operational improvements as the organization scales
  • Help define scalable Teamcenter operational standards, governance models, and engineering data management practices
Engineering Workflow & Data Management
  • Support engineering teams in the creation, management, release, and maintenance of product data throughout the product lifecycle
  • Standardize workflows, release processes, metadata usage, and engineering data governance practices
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks, process gaps, recurring operational pain points, and opportunities for automation
  • Improve usability and reduce engineering friction through process optimization, workflow redesign, and system enhancements
  • Support BOM structure management, revision control, and configuration management processes
  • Validate engineering data quality, traceability, and configuration consistency across systems
  • Partner with Engineering and Digital Operations teams to improve scalability of engineering processes as product complexity and organizational size increase
  • Contribute to future-state initiatives involving model-based engineering, digital thread visibility, workflow automation, and engineering process modernization
NX & CAD User Support
  • Support Siemens NX managed-mode environments, integrations, templates, configurations, and engineering workflows
  • Troubleshoot NX-related operational issues involving Teamcenter integration, datasets, assemblies, drawings, and environment behavior
  • Support rollout, adoption, and operationalization of new engineering tools, workflows, templates, and capabilities
  • Assist engineering users with day-to-day CAD/PLM operational support needs
  • Help improve engineering productivity by reducing workflow friction and improving system usability
  • Support evolving engineering initiatives involving PMI, MBD, CAD automation, and digital engineering workflows
