Node.js Developer

Qualifications

Environment and Technology:

Backbone.js, Sails.js/Express, Node.js and MongoDB.

Git/GitHub, RESTful, JSON, OAuth, Sails.js, socket.io/Web Sockets, MongoDB, Redis, Angular,

Skills:

Strong back-end experience. Must be comfortable with data modeling concepts, separation of concerns, load issues, and scalability. Should also have a strong understanding of the JavaScript language, an understanding of creating reusable modules, unit tests, etc. Strong foundation of software engineering, rather than only used JavaScript/jQuery for manipulating the DOM in web pages.

Previous, full life-cycle experience (multiple production releases) with a large, multi-user application deployed in the wild is a must. Developing a suite of public-facing applications on top of this API, experience with developing heavily concurrent solutions is desired.
