Job description

Position Summary

The position will help take our software to the next level through developing specifications for software programming applications and modifying/maintaining the existing software. The Sr. Applications Developer Team Lead will participate in design and coding activities with other team members. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in C#, Vue.js, Visual Studio, and Mircosoft® SQL Server®.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of web developers and provides mentoring and project guidance along with being responsible for scheduling and performance reviews
  • Perform architecture and design activities.
  • Develop new web-based software services using C# / .NET / MVC / Web API / Vue.js development frameworks and maintain existing products using Microsoft technologies.
  • Assume responsibility for ongoing data architecture for software.
  • Track the status of multiple ongoing projects.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems or computer science or a similar degree
  • Five years of development experience architecting and implementing service-oriented architectures
  • Proficiency in C# and Vue.js or another JavaScript framework like React.js or Angular.js
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Extensive experience with Entity Framework and LINQ
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
  • Xamarin experience a plus
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks a plus
