2026- 2027 SCHOOL YEAR
POSITION: JROTC Instructor - Lincoln Park High School QUALIFICATIONS:- BA/BS preferred
- Must possess the basic qualifications prescribed by Army regulations for employment as a Army Instructor (AI) in the Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) Program
- Must possess and maintain a valid National JROTC Instructor Certification Certificate
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
- Instruct cadets in the JROTC Curriculum during the school year
- Conduct training at JROTC summer camps
- Follow JROTC curriculum
- Maintain JROTC student records as required by the Department of Army regulations and local policies
- Demonstrate knowledge of assessment techniques
- Implement trauma-informed/resilient-based strategies & interventions
- Apply effective classroom management skills to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Utilize research based instructional techniques
- Leverage technology to enhance instructional delivery and support student learning
- Complete records in a timely manner
- Communicate to all members of the school & community
- Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession and the position
- Work cooperatively
- Follow requirements of supervisors
- Philosophy in accord with Lincoln Park Public Schools
