SUMMARY

As the ERP Business Analyst, you will support our JDE business analysis function within the technology team, reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and implement high-quality JDE EnterpriseOne business solutions and process improvements that drive business value. This includes involvement in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic project initiatives, in addition to ongoing JDE enhancements and operational support.

You will be a hands-on contributor in this role - actively analyzing business requirements, documenting solutions, and supporting JDE processes and operational needs. This position is ideal for a Jr/Intermediate ERP Business Analyst with strong problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset who is looking to grow their ERP and business analysis skills.

PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE

BUSINESS ANALYSIS & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and implement JDE EnterpriseOne business solutions and process improvements.
  • Support the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications and business stakeholders in identifying priorities and opportunities for the JDE business analysis function.
  • Analyze business requirements and processes to identify business solutions and process improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring consistency and completeness across projects.
  • Manage a variety of tasks through prioritization and strong communication with end users and stakeholders.

ERP DELIVERY, ENHANCEMENTS & STRATEGIC PROJECTS

  • Work closely with ERP development on the design, development, and testing of business applications and reports.
  • Support the delivery of enhancements, change requests, break-fixes, and updates; develop test plans, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate changes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic project initiatives, including the integration and implementation of new business units and companies.

GOVERNANCE, SUPPORT & PROCESS DOCUMENTATION

  • Follow the change-approval policy related to security, break-fix, enhancements, promotions, database, scheduler, and production changes.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for system issues as needed.
  • Contribute to training programs, working procedures, knowledge databases, and functional documentation standards.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & CULTURE

  • Pursue new knowledge on a continuous basis, apply best practices, and stay current on legislative requirements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or other computer/business major (or equivalent experience).
  • Exposure to ERP implementation and lifecycle experience.
  • Hands-on experience or exposure to at least 2 of the following modules: Financials, Project Management (Job Cost), Distribution, Manufacturing, HR, and Payroll.
  • Interest in developing functional expertise across additional ERP modules over time.
  • 1-4 years of ERP experience, JD Edwards preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.).
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and communication skills.
  • Well-organized with strong ability to prioritize competing issues.
  • Bilingual (French) is an asset.
