Job description

Test Engineer, Mission Systems

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

At Intelliforce, we build and sustain mission systems that have to work the first time and keep working when it counts. In this role, you will help protect software quality by building test coverage that catches issues early, strengthens releases, and gives teams confidence in what they deploy. This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys breaking things before the mission does, thinking through edge cases, and turning testing into a real engineering advantage.

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

This role gives you the chance to shape quality across the full test lifecycle. You will create test cases, execute test plans, run backend and command-line testing, and help strengthen both manual and automated coverage. The work is hands-on and practical, with a mix of test design, execution, reporting, and automation. Your impact will be visible in faster feedback, cleaner releases, and more reliable systems.

At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your contribution matters. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another testing role. It is a chance to help ensure mission systems perform the way they are supposed to.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include

• Create test cases for new and existing system capabilities
• Run test cases and capture clear, actionable results
• Create test reports that communicate findings, risks, and outcomes
• Create and execute test plans across multiple workflows and scenarios
• Support automated testing methods and execution using tools such as Selenium
• Write and maintain testing scripts for backend and command-line validation
• Help strengthen release quality through repeatable, reliable test coverage

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 years of relevant experience
• Or High School Diploma and 12 years of related experience
• In-scope polygraph within the last 7 years

Required Skills

• Experience creating test cases
• Experience running test cases
• Experience creating test reports
• Experience creating and executing test plans
• Familiarity with automated testing methods and execution, including Selenium
• Experience creating testing scripts
• Experience using command line prompts and backend testing

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting test automation in secure mission environments
• Strong troubleshooting and defect isolation skills
• Ability to communicate results clearly to engineers and stakeholders
• Experience improving test coverage and repeatability across releases

Compensation Range: $136,000.00 - $175,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
