Job description

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the development and implementation of multiple, concurrent projects within an assigned portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale omni-channel initiatives from start to finish, with a proven ability to deliver on budget, on time, on scope, and to the required quality standards within a fast-paced agency environment.

The Senior Project Manager will work collaboratively with Account Service Team on accurate scoping and estimating of all client initiatives, within their assigned brand portfolio.  The Senior Project Manager will be a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and will be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, and they will thrive in this role through continuous growth and development.

What You'll Do 

  • Project Management: Serve as the Senior point of contact for all project-related matters, including but not limited to scope, schedule, budget, risks/issues, and quality based on Agency Standards/historical.  Drive the end-to-end process for the development and execution of pharmaceutical marketing projects including planning, estimating, resourcing, and project timeline accuracy.
  • Financial Health & Portfolio Management: Own the financial health of assigned brand portfolios by actively tracking project-level budgets, burn rates, and forecasts against approved estimates. Proactively identify financial risks and variances early, and leverage project management levers - including scope management, resource optimization, timeline adjustments, and change order initiation - to course-correct and ensure portfolio financial targets are met. Partner closely with Account Service Team to maintain accurate revenue forecasting and provide regular financial reporting and commentary to Creative Operations and Finance stakeholders.
  • Process Adherence & Optimization: Thorough understanding of the steps in OH's integrated process, as well as MLR, PAAB, ASC workflows, and ability to ensure the process is followed throughout the project lifecycle and identify opportunities to further optimize process to gain efficiencies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and health against established metrics, thresholds, and baselines, while maintaining accuracy of project documentation such status reports, meeting minutes, and timeline exports for clients.
  • Internal Communication: Foster effective communication among cross-functional team members. Plan internal meetings, disseminate project-related information, and provide regular updates and/or follow-ups on project status and tasking.  Proactively Communicating changes in priority, direction, and scope to project team members.
  • Continuous improvement: Support the agency's operational excellence by thinking outside of the box and identifying opportunities for process improvement, and recommend enhancements to streamline project workflows, increase efficiency and improve overall project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to Jr PMO team members, facilitating their professional growth and development.
  • Perform other duties or special internal projects as assigned.

    • 6+ years of project management experience, with progressive responsibility, 4+ years of which within a creative/pharma advertising agency.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage large, complex initiatives from initiation through close-out.
