The role is grounded in leading mechanical engineering design and project execution from concept through implementation.### What You'll DoAs a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you will:* Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.* Manage multidisciplinary capital projects involving mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and process engineering teams.* Oversee engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, and project startup activities.* Lead Management of Change (MOC) projects to support plant improvements and operational reliability.* Develop equipment specifications and evaluate vendor proposals.* Size and specify pumps, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment.* Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to successfully execute projects.* Manage project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and resource planning.* Ensure projects comply with company standards, industry codes, safety requirements, and quality expectations.* Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and manufacturing performance.
