Cardinal Health's Biopharma Solutions business delivers industry-leading technology, analytics, and clinical solutions that support community specialty practices, GPOs, biopharma manufacturers, and healthcare providers. By bringing a modern product mindset to commercial healthcare technology, we establish Cardinal Health as healthcare's most trusted partner.

Our innovation culture powers a comprehensive digital ecosystem. We focus externally on our customers first, integrating multi-disciplinary teams—combining software engineering, data science, and specialty clinical insights—to scale technology that optimizes clinical navigation, accelerates real-world evidence (RWE) generation, and safeguards the financial health of community specialty practices.

Summary

As a Product Manager for Advanced Practice Analytics (APA) within Biopharma Solutions, you will lead the evolution of our premier financial intelligence and reimbursement analytics platform. APA is an enterprise-scale solution designed to deliver insights that optimize specialty practice profitability, formulary selection, and drug purchasing.

Unlike purely clinical platforms, APA is a sophisticated financial engine that delivers critical business insights around specialty formulary management, revenue leakage, buy-and-bill margin optimization, and automated billing reconciliation.

In this role, you will champion an AI-first approach to unlock the value of complex clinical, financial, contract, and claims data. You will help design advanced scenario modeling tools, predictive margin trackers, and modern analytics workflows that help oncology, urology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology practices maintain control over their financial performance and navigate complex drug purchasing environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Product Strategy & Roadmap: Drive the vision and execution for an AI-first financial intelligence and reimbursement analytics platform. Utilize predictive modeling, machine learning, and automation to turn complex datasets into actionable tools that optimize practice profitability.
  • Optimize Practice Economics & Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Define features for predictive margin tracking, revenue leakage prevention, buy-and-bill margin analysis, and quarterly Average Sales Price (ASP) or reimbursement scenario modeling.
  • Drive Platform & Dataset Synergies: Collaborate across product lines to bridge clinical and financial data. Connect APA insights with GPO contract performance, rebate tracking, specialty distribution, and patient hub services to deliver an integrated, best-in-class commercial business suite.
  • Execute with Product Excellence: Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle. Translate user needs into robust roadmaps, write high-quality user stories, and maintain a highly prioritized agile backlog that balances value, effort, and technical sustainability.
  • Amplify the Voice of the Customer (VOC): Partner with community clinics, practice executives, and clinical/billing staff to understand their daily "jobs to be done." Regularly collaborate with Customer Advisory Boards (CABs) to validate prototypes and ensure rapid product-market fit.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 4-8 years of software product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping data-heavy commercial enterprise analytics, financial technology, or B2B SaaS products preferred.
  • Specialty Healthcare Knowledge: Strong understanding of specialty practice economics, including "Buy and Bill" mechanics, Average Sales Price (ASP) impact, and therapeutic formulary dynamics.
  • Agile Leadership: Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, continuous product discovery, rapid prototyping, and user experience research.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently align engineering, sales, marketing, and practice executives around a shared product vision.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience, preferred.
  • Healthcare Data Fluency: Direct experience working with complex clinical, transactional, or contract datasets—such as medical claims and remittance data (e.g., 837/835), GPO contract structures, and clinical‑financial data reconciliation, preferred.
  • AI/ML & Data Science Literacy: Experience partnering with data scientists or AI engineers to build recommendation engines, natural language processing (NLP) pipelines, or agentic/multi‐agent AI workflows, preferred.
  • Specialty therapeutic area exposure (e.g., oncology, urology, rheumatology, or gastroenterology), preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $122,040

Bonus eligible: No

Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.

  • Medical, dental and vision coverage
  • Paid time off plan
  • Health savings account (HSA)
  • 401k savings plan
  • Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage
  • Work-Life resources
  • Paid parental leave
  • Healthy lifestyle programs

Application window anticipated to close: 08/22/2026.
