Expectations and Primary Responsibilities

Planner will collaborate cross-functionally with production and purchasing to schedule and prepare jobs to meet the demand of customers request date. This responsibility entails planning future material demand, reviewing ERP system transactions, and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
  • Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
  • Produce shortage reports for accounts
  • Manage ship commits based on customer need date
  • Help manage and maintains the production schedule, shop floor level loading and coordination of material acquisition and kitting activities to achieve 100% on time delivery.
  • Monitor material flow, identify bottlenecks.
  • Generate capacity, on-time delivery, and production status reports in support of management team
  • Basic understanding of part / assembly drawings
  • Create WO’s as needed
  • Work with buyers/receiving
  • Help Expedite critical need in supply chain and/or receiving.
  • Work with PM’s for critical jobs
  • Determines material requirement from production schedule
  • Responsible for managing accounts assigned
  • Produce buy lists

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with material planning support in a manufacturing environment, PCBA experience, Excel, Word, and outlook.

Must be able to provide proof of citizenship or permanent residence.

Education

High school diploma. BS/BA in related field a plus.
