Happy & Joyful Thoughts Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our thriving team in Punta Gorda, Florida. You will be working onsite in our vibrant outpatient office located in Punta Gorda. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and modalities to relieve pain and improve mobility.
  • Set measurable therapeutic goals and continually assess patient progress through regular evaluations, adapting treatment plans as required.
  • Document all treatments, patient responses, and outcome measures in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on the principles of physical therapy, self-care techniques, and the use of assistive devices if necessary.
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in physical therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base ranges from children to adults dealing with sports injuries, post-operative recovery, chronic pain, and a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals reclaim their mobility and independence, enabling them to return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Florida.
