Happy & Joyful Thoughts Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our thriving team in Punta Gorda, Florida. You will be working onsite in our vibrant outpatient office located in Punta Gorda. The office is equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and a welcoming atmosphere that promotes recovery and comfort. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and modalities to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Set measurable therapeutic goals and continually assess patient progress through regular evaluations, adapting treatment plans as required.
• Document all treatments, patient responses, and outcome measures in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Educate patients and their families on the principles of physical therapy, self-care techniques, and the use of assistive devices if necessary.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in physical therapy.

Our client base ranges from children to adults dealing with sports injuries, post-operative recovery, chronic pain, and a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals reclaim their mobility and independence, enabling them to return to their daily activities with confidence.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and varying diagnoses.
• Familiarity with home care practices and outpatient therapy settings.
