Job description

H&W Electrical is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical projects by reviewing plans, performing material and labor takeoffs, obtaining vendor pricing, and submitting competitive bids.

Responsibilities:

  • Review blueprints and project specifications.
  • Prepare labor and material estimates.
  • Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes.
  • Develop and submit bid proposals.
  • Work with project managers to ensure a smooth project handoff.

Qualifications:

  • Experience estimating commercial electrical projects.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license.
