Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist the Corporate Services team primarily with social media marketing as well as any other public relations, advertising and marketing activities the department requires.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Fields of study may include: Communications, Journalism, News & Storytelling, Marketing, Public Relations, or English.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop publishing software.
Ability to create and assist in the development of professionally written documents suitable for multiple audiences.
Familiarity with web page formatting.
Skilled in the use of general graphic design.
Demonstrate ability to use journalistic storytelling techniques and copy editing.
Reliable in completing assigned projects in a polished and timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
