Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and its partner hospitals, providing temporary support across a wide range of Johns Hopkins locations.

What We Offer
  • Flexibility โ€” PRN and contract opportunities with competitive rates
  • Variety โ€” Work across multiple Johns Hopkins facilities and explore different units, including non-clinical areas
Compensation
  • PRN Rate: $55/hour
  • Contract Rates: $60โ€“$75/hour (based on assignment)
Responsibilities
  • Facilitates and coordinates programs involving hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community members, and employees of both the hospital and university. Care is delivered using evidence-based practices aligned with Johns Hopkins Hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Provides leadership and direction to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborates with and leads multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support program initiatives focused on quality, safety, and clinical excellence.
  • Participates in identifying and promoting quality improvement initiativesโ€”clinical, financial, and operationalโ€”within the specialty area.
  • Initiates and participates in research activities relevant to the specialty.
  • Implements specialty-specific initiatives as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
  • Fosters a clinical environment rooted in service excellence.
Qualifications Qualifications
  • Active registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland or licensure in a compact state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty area
