Job description

Description
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production operations and staff at our Bainbridge, GA facility.
Functions of the Position:
  • Manage and supervise production lines, personnel, and facility operations
  • Ensure employee productivity, facility safety, and proper maintenance activities in collaboration with other managers and supervisors
  • Ensure adherence to SQF Code requirements
  • Execute and oversee production schedules to meet operational goals
  • Directly supervise, train, develop, and evaluate production supervisors and line personnel
  • Monitor and maintain production standards related to efficiency, material waste, and product quality
  • Monitor and control departmental costs to meet budget targets
  • Enforce safety, GMP, and allergen programs, and attend and support relevant training initiatives
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
  • PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certificationpreferred.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report generation required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred.
  • Strong decision-making, planning, and leadership abilities required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

The starting salary range for this position is $99,527-$136,850. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives subject to the terms of the underlying plan.
