Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Mobile UX/UI Designer (ASO) based in Netherlands.

As a Junior Mobile UX/UI Designer (ASO), you will contribute to the creation of high-performing visual experiences for mobile applications across global markets. Working within a fast-paced acquisition and growth-focused environment, you will design app store assets, promotional materials, and in-app interfaces that drive engagement and visibility. The role combines creativity, mobile design expertise, and emerging AI technologies to produce compelling visual concepts at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay ahead of mobile and ASO trends, and help optimize design workflows through innovation and automation. Accountabilities
  • Design complete visual packages for mobile applications on App Store and Google Play, ensuring alignment with project requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Create a wide range of ASO and marketing assets, including app icons, screenshots, banners, promotional graphics, video creatives, and store materials.
  • Design and refine in-app experiences, including onboarding flows, splash screens, menus, and additional user interface components.
  • Develop original visual concepts tailored to specific product categories, audiences, and market trends.
  • Produce multiple creative variations and iterate quickly based on feedback and performance objectives.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to generate graphics, illustrations, characters, videos, and other visual content that enhance productivity and creative output.
  • Research and implement new design technologies, AI solutions, and workflow improvements to optimize production processes.
  • Monitor industry trends in mobile design, app store optimization, and digital marketing to ensure visual assets remain competitive and relevant.
  • Contribute to the development of design systems, templates, asset libraries, and scalable internal processes.
  • Maintain high quality standards while delivering projects within tight deadlines and fast production cycles.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in graphic design, mobile design, ASO design, or a related creative field.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Solid understanding of design principles for App Store and Google Play listings.
  • Experience creating mobile app assets, including icons, screenshots, promotional creatives, and user interface screens.
  • Ability to work across different visual styles and quickly adapt to varying project requirements.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to support graphic creation, content generation, and design process optimization.
