FULL TIME OPHTHALMOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

Aspire Rural Health System

Cass City, MI

Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a full-time Ophthalmologist to join an excellent team of collegial, friendly peers. This is an employed position offering a competitive compensation and benefit package. This opportunity will serve the communities of Cass City and Marlette, MI, located in the “Thumb” of Michigan.

The selected candidate must obtain a license in the state of Michigan and must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology to apply.

COMPENSATION:

  • Full time Employed position with Aspire Rural Health System
  • Compensation of $485,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Additional compensation through wRVU’s will be offered
  • Excellent Benefit package
  • CME- $5000K per year and 5 days
  • Sign on bonus and moving expenses will also be offered

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS
  • Office Hours: Monday–Thursday: 9am-5pm & Friday: 9am-12pm (Office Hours are flexible)

  • Physician will be accompanied by appropriate staff
  • Opportunities to work with Medical Students
  • EMR system is Epic
  • Scheurer Health is an NHSC site for Federal Student Loan Repayment
  • Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, MI is our Tertiary Center

Aspire Rural Health System is the parent company of Hills and Dales Hospital, located in Cass City, MI, Marlette Regional Hospital, located in Marlette, MI, and Deckerville Community Hospital, located in Deckerville, MI. All three of these hospitals are 25 bed critical access hospitals that serve each community.
