Job description

Pediatric Physical Therapist

Outpatient Clinic  •  Oklahoma City, OK  •  Full-Time  •  70-86k/year  •  Up to 8k signing bonus

Therapitas is a nonprofit that has served Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2015 with one mission: ensuring Spanish-speaking children have the same access to quality therapy as any other child.

We’re hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Oklahoma City. Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required. We provide trained interpreter support. And for those who want to learn: we'll provide Spanish lessons or send you to Antigua, Guatemala.

Why Join Therapitas?

  • Spanish Immersion Program (SIP): Want to learn Spanish? We'll send you to Antigua, Guatemala to immerse yourself in the language and culture. We partner with schools and host families to give you a structured, safe experience abroad. All experience levels welcome. Watch this video for more information about SIP.
  • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a team that expands access to care and makes a meaningful difference for children and families.
  • A Sustainable Caseload: Most therapists carry about 23–28 hours of direct therapy per week, with caseloads built around experience and preferences.
  • Work-Life Balance: Documentation gets done at work, not at home. We build documentation time into your schedule, protect your lunch hour, and use unfilled cancellations as additional documentation time.
  • Structured Mentorship and Support: New hires go through a formal training and ramp-up period, with ongoing support through regular one-on-ones, documentation guidance, and professional development.
  • Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced OTs, PTs, SLPs, and support staff who value teamwork, growth, and excellent care.
What We’re Looking For

✅ DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
✅ Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
✅ New grads and upcoming board exam candidates welcome
✅ Passion for working with children and families
✅ Mission-driven approach to care

What You’ll Do

✔️ Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients

✔️ Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence

✔️ Document services in our easy-to-use EMR to meet clinical standards and payer requirements

✔️ Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care

✔️ Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students

What We Offer

💰 $70,000 – $86,000 / year based on schedule and experience with up to $8,000 signing bonus available for candidates not participating in SIP.

💼 401(k)

🌴 Generous PTO, paid holidays, and sick leave from day one, not accrual-based

📚 Continuing education and licensure assistance

📅 Monday–Friday schedule only
