Job description

Construction Project Manager - Multi Family Construction
Project and corporate office locations - Miami Dade

WHY YOU WANT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Are you a Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while building long term relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams?

A well established South Florida Developer/Builder is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple garden style multifamily construction projects ranging from $20 million to $70 million in value throughout Miami Dade and South Broward Counties.

This is a career opportunity, not a travel position. All projects are local, allowing you to build your career while maintaining stability for yourself and your family.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, financial management, execution, and successful delivery of multifamily projects while leading and developing an Assistant Project Manager. This individual will work closely with ownership, operations leadership, superintendents, consultants, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Manage multifamily garden style projects from preconstruction through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and change management
  • Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners
  • Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Utilize Procore, Sage, and TimberScan for project management, cost control, document management, and reporting
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, permits, and closeout processes
  • Collaborate with field leadership to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and productivity goals
  • Coach, mentor, and develop an Assistant Project Manager
  • Provide proactive communication and leadership throughout all phases of construction

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor or Developer/Builder
  • Experience delivering multifamily construction projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project financial management
  • Experience using Procore, Sage, and TimberScan
  • Ability to lead teams while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Competitive base salary
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Career advancement opportunities within a growing Developer/Builder organization
