Job description

We believe dental care is an essential part of total person healthcare and our dental team is here to help patients on their journey to live well! Our Team works closely with our medical and behavioral health providers to put patient physical, mental, emotional and social well-being at the center of patient care.

Our Dental Hygienist team is responsible for managing dental hygiene and treatment of periodontal disease of patients under direction of staff dentists. Some of the essential job responsibilities include assessing and obtaining clinical evidence of patient's level of periodontal health and develop appropriate treatment plan and sequence for treatment of existing periodontal disease. This is an on-site position in our clinic located in The Dalles, Oregon.

This position is located at our Hood River clinic. Open to full-time or part-time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon Hygiene license as well as Oregon x-ray certification
  • Current CPR/Adult and Infant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • New graduates welcome!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience working with marginalized, high-risk, or otherwise underserved populations.

Compensation:

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $45.00 per hour, increases depending on experience
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
