Job description

Looking for a steady, hands-on role where you can focus on detailed work, listen to your own music or favorite podcast, work alongside a close-knit team, and still be home every evening? Apply today to join Circuit Board Medics in Greenville as a full-time Circuit Board Repair Technician and become part of a people-first company that values consistency, craftsmanship, and the individuals behind the work.

Job Overview

  • Title: Circuit Board Repair Technician (entry level)
  • Employer: Circuit Board Medics is family‑owned, ~100 employees, one location
  • Location: Greenville, SC 29615 (on-site, temperature‑controlled production floor)
  • Schedule: Full-time | Monday - Friday, 1st Shift
  • Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour (hourly, full-time)

Why This Feels Different (culture and perks you actually feel)

  • Friendly, wholesome environment: Family‑owned, one location, people know your name and notice your effort.
  • Predictable hours: 7 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday. No second shift. No rotating schedules. (Overtime of 5-10 hours per week is common and will be compensated accordingly.)
  • Hands‑on, fast-paced work: You’re up, moving, using tools, and working with your hands all day.
  • Collaborative work cells: Join our Work Cell production team made up of roughly seven smaller teams, supporting four different product lines in an assembly‑line style environment where you work closely with your coworkers.
  • Great training ground: You’ll master one table at a time within your work cell, giving you a clear progression as you learn each station and product line. Once you master them all, opportunity for rotating positions and teamwork grow.
  • Warm, values‑driven place: We live out our vision of “Care. Serve. Restore.” and our core values of People, Excellence, and Ownership regularly so it doesn’t feel like other manufacturing environments.

What You’ll Do (hands‑on work)

  • Work in a work cell team on our temperature‑controlled production floor on one of our high-volume product lines.
  • Use hand tools and soldering irons (we train you) to repair and upgrade automotive and heavy-duty vehicle circuit boards.
  • Replace faulty components and rework boards so they’re better than new.
  • Follow clear repair instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures (PPE provided as needed).

No Electronics Background?

  • That’s okay! We’ll train you from the ground up as long as you’re willing to work hard and learn on the job.

What We’re Looking For (qualifications & fit)

  • Entry level: Some work history is strongly preferred (any hands‑on, production, warehouse, restaurant, retail, or similar work).
  • No prior experience: electronics or soldering experience is not required, just a willingness to learn and a desire to work hard.
  • Reliability: on time and consistent attendance. Your team should be able to count on you every day.
  • Comfortable with hand tools and able to follow written instructions and write simple, clear repair notes.
  • Open to learning:
    • Component identification
    • Thru‑hole and surface‑mount soldering
    • Basic troubleshooting and final test steps

What Will Make You Fit In?

  • Curiosity and a desire to understand how things work.
  • A strong sense of urgency and pride in your work.
  • Ownership and care for doing the right thing.
  • Humility to ask questions and accept feedback.
  • A love for teamwork and a strong sense of community.

Pay & Benefits (what you get)

  • Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
  • Health insurance: Eligible the 1st of the month after hire
  • Voluntary benefits: dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance
  • Paid time off: 10 days PTO per year
  • Paid holidays: 8 days per year
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Parental time off and adoption benefits
  • Casual dress code + branded clothing allowance
  • Free fruit, social outings, and a supportive, values‑driven team that makes work feel lighter

How to Apply (what to expect)

  1. Apply online through our website or Indeed and answer the custom questions (we use them to get to know you).
  2. Complete 2 Predictive Index Assessments emailed to you with “Circuit Board Medics Application” in the subject line (about 30 minutes total on a computer).
  3. Our talent team reviews each completed application within 3 business days.
  4. If we’re moving forward, you’ll get a phone call within 1 week of finishing your assessments.
