Overview
The Catholic University of America, Office of Human Resources, is looking for a mission oriented Human Resources Generalist to join its Human Resources team.
Demonstrated hands on experience managing/administering multiple programs, examples include: FMLA, annual, sick, parental bonding leave, military, jury, bereavement, short term and long term disability. This position will also administer remote work programs, and assist with the American's with Disability (ADA), PWFA accommodation request and process. In addition to the aforementioned areas, experience with employee corrective action processes, investigations, and supervisor counseling is a plus. The selected Human Resources Generalist may support other areas within the Office of Human Resources as needed and based on experience and ability.
A polished professional with a can do, helpful, service oriented attitude is a must. Good judgement based on a sound foundation in Human Resources and business principles, strong ethics and empathy for the person and the Catholic University as a whole. Applicants must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced Human Resources department. Solid spreadsheet and document skills along with strong communications skills both verbal and written are a must

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related degree and a minimum of two plus years human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree will be considered.
