Hours and overtime may vary with weather and project demand. Some schedule flexibility may be available.
Experienced Tree Professionals Needed
A family-owned tree-service operation is hiring multiple experienced crew members to perform professional trimming and removal work. These are hands-on field positions working under crew leadership.
Direct professional tree-service experience is required. Previous bucket-truck operation is strongly preferred and may qualify candidates for the higher end of the pay range.
What You'll Do
  • Perform professional tree trimming and removal work
  • Operate chainsaws and standard tree-service equipment
  • Operate a bucket truck when qualified and assigned
  • Assist with equipment positioning and jobsite setup
  • Complete skilled ground work during trimming and removal projects
  • Handle brush, logs, and tree debris
  • Protect surrounding structures, vehicles, and customer property
  • Complete thorough cleanup before leaving each jobsite
  • Travel with the crew from the Urbana shop to local jobsites

Required Experience
  • Direct professional tree trimming or removal experience
  • Working knowledge of tree-service tools and field procedures
  • Confident chainsaw operation
  • Ability to contribute without entry-level tree-work training
  • Valid driver's license required with no exceptions
  • Dependable attendance and reliable availability for outdoor work

Preferred Additional Experience
  • Bucket-truck operation
  • Tree climbing
  • CDL A or B
  • Heavy-equipment operation
  • Asphalt or paving work
  • Snowplow or winter road-maintenance experience

Physical and Work Environment
  • Strenuous outdoor work in changing weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and carrying

  • Work at elevation when operating from a bucket truck
