Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Tree Trimmer and play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and beauty of residential and commercial l land. In this energetic position, you will utilize your expertise in tree care, pruning, and removal to ensure trees are properly maintained and hazards are mitigated. Your skills in operating specialized equipment like bucket trucks, chainsaws, excavators, skid steers, wood chipper, wood processors and more - will help you perform precise trimming, pruning, and removal tasks efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply arborist rigging techniques, and contribute to sustainable land management.

Duties

  • Safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging equipment to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal projects.
  • Use arborist rigging techniques to safely dismantle large or hazardous trees while protecting surrounding property and vegetation.
  • Perform tree removal operations with precision, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed during all phases of work.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery.
  • Leadership skill building in maintaining order on and off the jobsite

Experience

  • Proven outdoor work experience.
  • Familiarity with tree care practices such as pruning, trimming, planting, and removal.
  • Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree maintenance equipment.
  • Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for safe dismantling of large trees in complex environments.
  • Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments involving heavy machinery and height access equipment.
  • Leader ship and team building skills are required.
