Tree Foreman / Arborist
Compensation: $28+/hour (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tree Foreman to lead a crew and oversee tree care operations. ISA Arborist Certification is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong tree trimming and climbing experience, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a crew of 5-6 team members on tree care and removal projects
  • Climb and work in all types of trees, including palm trees
  • Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal services
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of chippers, chainsaws, climbing gear, and other tree care equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all company and industry safety guidelines
  • Train and mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Lift and move 50+ pounds regularly
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of tree trimming experience
  • Ability to climb and work in all types of trees, including palm trees
  • Experience leading and managing crews
  • Knowledge of chipper machines, chainsaws, climbing equipment, and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • ISA Arborist Certification preferred but not required
