Job description

We are seeking an experienced title agent to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare title abstract and title opinion after conducting a title search
  • Check for real estate title defects after conducting property search for title issues such as liens, claims, deeds, wills, mortgages, or fraud
  • Examine maps, liens, judgments, leases, agreements, public records, contracts, surveys, and plat books to verify legal description, ownership, and restrictions
  • Record all legal documents at the county and federal level and present deed to new owners
  • Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with Real Estate agents, Loan officers, and clients
  • Conduct all phases of the Title process through Closing
  • Utilize technical skills to interact through Social media/the Internet, and Internet/E-recording
  • Validate and verify all financial and remote communication

Qualifications:
  • Requires 3-5 years of title closing experience, abstractor, title examiner, or closing services experience
  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma required -- college degree preferred
  • State license requirements must be met for this position --title producers license is a bonus
  • The Ideal Candidate will be Personable and Positive with a can-do Attitude
  • 3 years plus of Title experience and interaction with Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers
  • Meet State Licensing requirements- Title Producers license and Notary
