Job Family FAC- Part-Time Faculty, Credit Classes Grade P1 Salary $54.37 - Base Rate Department Theatre, NWSA Reports To Dean, New World School of the Arts Closing Date Open until filled FLSA Status Exempt - Not Eligible for Overtime Compensation First Review Date May 13, 2025
Position Overview
The Adjunct Faculty teaches classes in Theatre.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes .
What you will be doing
  • Teaches classes in scene, study and acting
  • Teaches classes in Voice and Diction for actors
  • Teaches classes in Dialects
  • Develops curricula
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • Master's degree in field from a regionally accredited institution or Master's of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from a regionally accredited institution or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate hours in Theatre
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
