Is a job foreman a hard job?

Concrete Foreman-Restoration

Gerber Construction

Lehi, UT

$30 - $43/hr

Full-time

Job description

At Gerber Construction, we’re not just building projects—we’re building a better quality of life for our teams and communities. We believe strong leadership starts in the field. We’re currently seeking an experienced Restoration Foreman to lead daily field operations across a variety of heavy civil construction projects, with a specific focus on concrete restoration.

Restoration Foreman – Structural Concrete

Top Foremen Don’t Follow Work—They Lead It.

If you’re a proven Restoration Foreman, you already know the difference between a company that talks about quality… and one that actually delivers it.

At Gerber Construction, we’re building crews that take ownership, push production, and hold the line on quality every time.

We’re not looking for someone to fill a seat.
We’re looking for someone who runs work, builds people, and takes pride in doing it right.

What You’ll Be Trusted With

  • Leading restoration crews on critical infrastructure (bridges, spillways, stadiums, parking structures)
  • Owning production, safety, and quality
  • Executing complex scopes: concrete repair, coatings, waterproofing, structural rehab
  • Running work in active environments where planning and precision matter
  • Developing Crew Leaders and building a team that performs

What You Won’t Find Here

  • Weak standards
  • Poor planning
  • Leaders who avoid accountability
  • Crews that drag production down

If that’s what you’re used to, this probably isn’t the right fit.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years leading concrete restoration crews
  • The ability to read plans, make decisions, and keep work moving
  • Strong working knowledge of repair systems, coatings, and structural work
  • A leadership style that balances respect with accountability
  • A mindset of: own it, fix it, improve it

Extra Credit (But Not Required)

  • Post-tensioning or structural strengthening experience
  • OSHA 30
  • CDL or willingness to get one

Why Foremen Come Here (and Stay)

Great people. Great projects.

  • You’ll work with teams that actually care about the work
  • You’ll be part of a company that develops leaders—not just fills roles
  • You’ll be expected to perform—and recognized when you do
  • You’ll have the chance to build something better than where you are now

Let’s Be Direct

If you’re:

  • Carrying your current crew
  • Frustrated with low standards
  • Tired of fixing the same problems over and over

Then it might be time for a change.

Final Word

We’re building a team who are:

  • Hands-on
  • Accountable
  • All-in

If that’s you, apply and let’s talk.
