DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible of the Consultancy division covering technical and commercial projects in oceanographic consulting, ensuring high-quality data analysis, client satisfaction, and business growth. Support the organization's reputation and success by delivering expert solutions, driving innovation, and developing new business opportunities in the metocean sector. Plan, organize, control, coordinate, motivate, delegate, and communicate to balance project cost, time, quality, benefit, and risk. Work with project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Identify and communicate project resource needs. Ensure proper resourcing for personnel and equipment. Coordinate with Operations Manager to assign project team members. Develop/manage project documentation, including execution plans. Conduct project startup activities, including briefings and kick-off meetings. Provide accurate and timely project metrics reporting. Brief project teams and attend vessel mobilizations as needed. Coordinate with project field teams daily. Manage third-party contributions to projects. Administer contracts and manage risk and opportunities. Contribute to tenders and contract negotiations if required. Oversee project close-out, including client review meetings and final settlements. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned. Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain productive client relationships and identify opportunities and risks. Consult with internal experts to implement best practices. Review and approve project deliverables and obtain client's acceptance. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance against KPls. Provide financial information for commercial reports and prepare financial forecasts. Control project budget and schedule, taking corrective actions as needed. Ensure proper financial tracking and invoicing. Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for assigned reports. Provide routing feedback to manager and HR on personnel issues such as performance, daily attendance, cooperations, technical abilities and capabilities to complete job requirements, overall cohesiveness of the team members, etc. Ensure accordance to company standards, industry standards, QHSSE policy and local regulations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Master's degree in Oceanography.
  • 4 years of relevant metocean experience in all aspects of physical oceanographic and numeric modeling project management, working with contractual requirements, timescales and budgets.
