Job Summary:

HCA Florida JFK Hospital and HCA Florida JFK North Hospital are actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic and expanding Gastroenterology Program. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical excellence, innovation, and medical education in two of the most desirable locations in South Florida.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • ERCP proficiency required
  • Advanced endoscopic skills strongly preferred, including:
    • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
    • Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
    • Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)
    • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
    • Balloon-Assisted Enteroscopy
    • Capsule Endoscopy
    • Endoluminal Stenting
  • Interest in teaching and graduate medical education
  • Desire to assist in developing and launching a Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive GI care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with a wide range of surgical specialists, including: colorectal, bariatric, and general surgery
  • Participate in and help lead educational programs within our ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine and Surgery Residency Programs
  • Contribute to the strategic development of subspecialty training and academic programming in gastroenterology
