Jewish Family Care Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients efficiently. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges, ensuring effective treatment planning tailored to each individual.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques specifically designed to foster personal growth and emotional well-being.
• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients, regularly evaluating progress to adapt treatment as needed.
• Utilize teletherapy solutions to provide accessible services to clients who may have mobility challenges or prefer virtual interactions.
• Ensure high standards of care by maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation that reflects treatment plans and client progress.
• Engage in continuous professional development, enhancing your clinical skills and staying updated on the latest research and methodologies in mental health treatment.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression, as well as couples and families seeking to strengthen their relationships. A particular emphasis on providing care for underserved populations, including people of color and the LGBTQIA community, is central to our mission. Your role will directly influence the empowerment and recovery of clients, helping them to overcome obstacles and improve their quality of life.

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience.
• Experience working with various demographics including couples, children, teens, and families.
• Strong cultural competence, particularly in providing services to clients of color and the LGBTQIA community.

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will give you an edge in this role. Additionally, a background in trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly valued.
