As a Drain Technician at My Plumber Plus, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality drain cleaning services while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnosing drain issues and recommending appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home, service calls.
  • Provide Camera service for mainline stoppages
  • Describe diagnosed problems to customers and provides solutions
  • Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively communicating drain issues and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities by explaining the features and benefits of each solution.
  • Obtain agreement for services before performing work
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to customers, maximizing revenue potential.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels
  • Be able to remove and reset a toilet and a p-trap
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers
  • Participation in required staff meetings and training

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of sewer and drain cleaning, replacement, and sales experience
  • Experience operating a sewer camera
  • Service Titan experience a plus!
  • Working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping
  • Repairing underground drains and sewers using conventional excavation methods or experience using trenchless pipe replacement equipment would be a plus
  • Personable and professional
  • High integrity and strong communication skills
