Job description

CS Sales Specialist Sr - Aircraft Interiors in  GAC Savannah or other offsite Gulfstream locations.  


Unique Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the installation and modification of interiors in Gulfstream aircraft
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quoting and estimating processes related to Gulfstream interior installations and modifications
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience prioritizing workload, coordinating team activities, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in outputs
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in estimating processes, tools, and team performance


 

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or business related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 7 years aviation or sales experience. Position Purpose: Provide technical resources to the product support sales team by generating accurate, competitive, and timely quotations for all models of Gulfstream aircraft with an emphasis on the usage of standard products and tools. Perform liaison duties between the Outside Sales Team and all internal departments to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Provide leadership within the sales organization to ensure a professional and successful work environment.
  2. Generate proposals and standard products that provide detailed pricing and work description that will be accomplished on customer aircraft or aircraft components.
  3. Work closely with the sales team and new business development to identify and promote new programs to be offered to the marketplace.
  4. Coordinate with Operations, Material, Planning, Engineering, Certification, ASC/CB Group, Technical Operations, other OEMs, Parts Sales, outside vendors, etc. to ensure labor hours and prices are accurate for all disciplines and material involved. Determine accurate downtime for all work to be accomplished.
  5. Interface with the salesman and/or customer to define work scope and assist with guiding the customer selections. This may involve direct interface with the Level One/Principal/Owner of the aircraft.
  6. Travel (at times at short notice) to a customer's facility to assist in determining the exact work to be performed on an aircraft.
  7. Focus on identifying, creating and maintaining standards and commonality of standard product offerings and quotation processes. Develop product offerings for standard installations that may be quoted consistently on a regular basis.
  8. Keep up to date on inspection requirements, aircraft installations/modifications, FAA regulatory issues, latest vendor products and certification requirements in order to generate accurate product offerings.
  9. Ability to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously at any given time while maintaining quality and consistency.
  10. Work with the Specialty Sales Managers (Avionics and/or Interior Specialists) to develop new programs to maintain our competitive edge. Work to maintain consistency between all site quotation groups when compiling proposals for new programs.
Additional Functions:
  1. Work with Facility Management and Sales Management to improve business processes. .
  2. Attend Trade Shows, other OEM seminars, etc. to stay abreast of the industry. .
  3. Work overtime as required. by volume of workload or travel requirements. .
Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
  1. Must be computer literate and proficient.
  2. Pilots license and/or A&P license certification is preferred.
  3. Basic selling and negotiating skills are essential along with a professional demeanor.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
