Position Title: WLA PT Hourly School Bus Driver
Position Location: Westlake Lutheran Academy (Richmond, TX)
Reports To: Campus Principal and Athletic Director
Position Purpose: To provide safe transport for school children based on schedule and route.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
• Driving for field trips and sporting events
• Planning around traffic during trips
• Communicate professionally with students
• Greet parents and students with salutations and smiles
• Helping students on and off the bus/van as needed
• Conduct oneself in a professional, ethical, and Christ-like way
• Interacts with children and serves as their trusted transportation to and from school events
• Obey all traffic laws
• Maintain a clean, safe, and mechanically sound bus/van at all times
• Ensure the safety of all students
• Perform inspections of the bus/van before and after each route
Qualifications:
• Must be OVER the age of 25
• Superb driving record
• Subject to background checks and drug testing
• MUST have a valid CDL Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements (All that is required for a school bus)
• Should be free of any traffic or criminal violations and should have an authoritative yet calming demeanor with a strong understanding of all traffic laws.

ABOUT BAPTISM: Baptism is water applied in the name of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit according to Jesus' command and promise.
