Laborer / Grade Checker

Location: Farmington, NM

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking a dependable Laborer / Grade Checker to support construction operations throughout the Four Corners area. The ideal candidate will have experience working outdoors, reading grades and elevations, and assisting with general labor and construction activities.

This position requires travel throughout the Four Corners area.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor duties as assigned.
  • Check and maintain proper grades, elevations, and slopes.
  • Assist operators and crew members with daily work activities.
  • Use hand tools and measuring equipment as needed.
  • Read and follow grade stakes, plans, and site instructions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company and job-site safety policies and procedures.
  • Travel to various job sites throughout the Four Corners area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous laborer, grade checker, or construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to read grade stakes and understand elevations preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening.
