  • Design, develop, and maintain mainframe batch and online applications
  • Develop and enhance COBOL programs for business-critical workflows
  • Build and support CICS transaction processing applications
  • Create and maintain JCL jobs for batch processing, scheduling, and automation
  • Design and optimize DB2 (z/OS) SQL queries and database structures
  • Perform production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and change management processes
  • Collaborate with business, QA, and operations teams in Agile environment

Required Technical Skills
  • Strong experience in COBOL (Batch & Online development)
  • Hands-on with CICS (transaction processing)
  • Expertise in JCL (Job Control Language) - job scheduling, debugging, performance tuning
  • Solid knowledge of DB2 - z/OS Application Programming and SQL
  • Experience with VSAM datasets and file handling

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
