Job description

This position will serve as a key integrator within a Joint Operations Center (JOC), by synthesizing and managing information across service branches, including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, and coalition partners. This role enhances situational awareness and decision-making by assessing, designing, implementing, and governing knowledge management (KM) policies, guidance, and systems.
Work Location: Completely on-site in Honolulu, HI.

Basic Required Qualifications and Skills: Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position.   • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field of study.
  • At start date, must possess current IAT Level II Certification. One or more of the following certifications in ACTIVE status are acceptable.
    • CCNA-Security
    • CND
    • Security+ CE
    • CySA+
  • Minimum of 5- 8 years of relevant experience in knowledge management, data analysis, or related field within a joint/multi-service environment.
  • Proficient in creating systems that support inter-service collaboration and information sharing.
  • Skilled in joint tools and systems, such as CENTRIXS, JADOCS, and mission-specific collaborative environments.
    • Strong general web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON
  • Capable of identifying cross-service operational trends and synthesizing them into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, with experience interfacing with senior officials and a proven ability to bridge terminology and procedural gaps between services, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Deep understanding of the operational frameworks and priorities of each service branch, with the ability to align them for joint success, and evaluate data to quickly identify problems, issues, and gaps.
  • Ability to travel OCONUS.
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • All applicants must have current DoD Secret clearance day one and prior to entry on duty, with ability to up-scope to Top Secret.

Desired Qualifications and Skills: It is desirable that the candidate have the following qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Assess, design, implement, and execute KM policies and guidance specific to the customer’s mission.
  • Provide KM oversight and governance, ensuring compliance with established directives and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to leadership for all decision-support processes.
  • Collect, standardize, and ensure compatibility of data from diverse sources and service-specific systems, including Army logistics systems, Navy fleet ops, Marine Corps tactical intelligence, Air Force ISR feeds, and Space Force satellite telemetry.
  • Ensure data accessibility and interoperability across service-specific platforms (e.g., SharePoint, CENTRIX, JADOCS) to support a unified operational picture.
  • Design and implement KM solutions (e.g., collaborative platforms, shared repositories, and real-time dashboards) tailored to the needs of a joint environment.
  • Oversee content management (e.g., webpages, portals, file shares, and lists) to enable a single point of truth for all stakeholders.
  • Leverage web development capabilities (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON) for customizing KM tools.
  • Integrate service-specific intelligence, operational updates, and situational reports into comprehensive knowledge products that provide a unified operational picture.
  • Tailor products to meet the unique requirements of each service while ensuring they align with joint mission objectives.
  • Evaluate integrated data streams to identify cross-service trends, operational gaps, and collaborative opportunities.
  • Provide commanders with actionable recommendations that support integrated planning and execution.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between service components and coalition partners, ensuring alignment of information and priorities.
  • Rapidly adapt KM tools and processes to meet the evolving requirements of joint operations and crisis situations, including rapid deployments and coalition activities, while minimizing data accessibility delays.
