Job description

Phone/Skype Hire.ย 

Location: Jackson, MS / Remote

Duration: 12+ months

20-40 per MONTH. No guaranteed amount of hours per week/month.ย  Contractor must be available Mon - Fri 8-5pm for meetings/consultation but they can work outside of those hours if preferred.ย  Contractor must be prepared to report onsite as needed, estimated at once per month.ย  Advance notice will be provided and expenses are covered by the client. Contractor must be available immediately to obtain knowledge transfer from outgoing contractor.

Essential functions

  • Design, build, test, implement, maintain and upgrade agency programs and applications
  • Write and maintain plugins and custom JavaScript to extend the functionality of Power Platform applications
  • Analyze, research and evaluate existing applications
  • Code, test and debug applications

Additional Responsibilities

  • End-user support for mission critical applications and databases
  • Perform functional analysis
  • Document system requirements
  • Provide training and assistance with applications
  • Manage permission requests to various software systems
  • Participate in system upgrades
  • Troubleshoot and support off application issues
  • Develop reports and interfaces

Requirements

  • Proficiency in coding in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with Application Design and Database Managementย ย 
  • Must have previous recent experience mentoring other developers
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, and model-driven app configuration
  • 6+ years of recent experience in the following:
  • C#
  • Azure as a Service
  • PowerBI
  • Azure DevOpsย ย ย 

Preferred

  • Microsoft Get experience
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200).
  • Familiarity with Azure services and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
