Position Description

For our European customers, we are seeking an engaging self-starter with a love of technology to be our next Solutions Engineer. They should be problem-solvers, be comfortable with front-end UI technologies, and engage directly with customers to help deploy Deque solutions, and be capable of managing multiple customers in parallel. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer implementations, hands-on with UI and scripting technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and a very good understanding of the accessibility software domain and solutions. Ability to engage with customers to understand users, key players, their needs and goals, build custom solutions, and help execute a strategy to achieve customers’ goals and expand business.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist AE’s in technical discovery sessions with customers

  • Deliver tailored technical demos of Deque products showcasing value mapped to client use cases and business outcomes

  • Work with AE’s to help create business cases, that focus on ROI, cost savings, value realization and creation

  • Led Deque Proof of concepts for all deque products, this involves capturing customer success criteria and mapping it back to deques unique solutions, leading zoom check in calls, helping setup/provision deque POC accounts, monitoring POC utilization, helping setup integrations, build and enable technical champions, training and enablement of deque products to quickly deliver a technical win

  • Work and collaborate with Deque Customer Support, Product Management, and R&D to share product knowledge from the field to drive the strategic direction of the deque product suite

  • Occasionally attend accessibility conferences, assist with webinars, write blog posts on behalf of Deque to help drive adoption and awareness of Deque products

  • Understand and articulate opportunities to improve and optimize results of customer usage and implementation of Deque products, and help build business cases for further investment for upsells and cross-sells.

  • Leverage various AI tools such as claude co-work, chatgpt, gemini for efficiency

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in pre-sales or post-sales implementation role

  • Deep understanding of UI (web and mobile), front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc).

  • Experience working with AI tools like claude code, LLMs, claude-cowork for coding, presentations, faster project creation, analysis of data sets, creating agents to drive efficiency

  • Deep experience in at least one programming language (Javascript or Node are ideal)

  • Good understanding of CI/CD tools like github actions, Azure Devops, Jenkins

  • Experience with UI test automation frameworks like playwright, cypress, or selenium.

  • Good understanding of SDLC and its components (Think agile, Kanban, Scrum)

  • Experience with building technical champions, value realization/creation, helping create business cases with AE’s

  • Good understanding of the accessibility software domain and customers' needs

  • Travel up to 30%
