MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Front End Software Developer to join our team in Tampa, FL.
 

The Front End Software Developer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to create next generation web-based and desktop applications. This role focuses on enhancing user interfaces with advanced tools and capabilities to ensure mission-critical data remains accessible and intuitive for all users.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing, prototyping, developing, and implementing applications using modern web programming technologies.

  • Designs and builds User Interfaces using modern UX/UI standards.

  • Utilizing JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, and CSS to build responsive and high-performance user interfaces.

  • Working with Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Data Scientists, and Database Engineers to create and troubleshoot interface capabilities.

  • Collaborating with customers to enhance the overall user experience and defining implementation requirements.

  • Developing and integrating with Restful APIs to ensure seamless data flow between the front end and backend systems.

  • Recommending appropriate user interface capabilities and ensuring cross-browser compatibility through effective troubleshooting techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience with a modern Web technology stack.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • 4+ years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and similar technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience with Restful APIs and relational databases.

  • Basic understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles, with the ability to collaborate with designers to translate wireframes into functional code.

  • Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the cyber risk and compliance automation tools.

Clearance Requirements:

  • An active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
