Job Title: Application Development Analyst - Enterprise IT Projects
Location: Tallahassee, FL 32308

Job Summary:
The Client is seeking an experienced Application Development Analyst with a deep understanding of full lifecycle system development, enterprise-level integration, and Java/J2EE technologies. The role involves translating business requirements into functional and technical designs, implementing scalable solutions, and engaging in cross-functional collaboration to support business and IT objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation (TDD, SDD, traceability matrix, process flows)
  • Analyze, design, develop, and implement software solutions using J2EE/JAVA, JBOSS, Oracle, and MS SQL environments
  • Conduct technical research and apply industry best practices in solution architecture and integration
  • Collaborate with business sponsors, architects, project managers, validation teams, and SMEs to manage issues, communicate progress, and mitigate risks
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications and coordinate project activities across technical and business units
  • Conduct high-level user acceptance testing (UAT), validate system changes, and support integration with internal/external systems
  • Document technical designs, participate in procurement processes, and assist in contract evaluations
  • Prepare weekly status reports and ensure timely delivery of project milestones

Mandatory Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

Experience:
  • 15+ years as an Application Development Analyst or Systems Analyst on enterprise-level IT projects
  • Expert knowledge across all phases of system development
  • Proven experience in technical design, troubleshooting, testing, and debugging of enterprise applications
