Job description

Position Summary:
Experienced Java Developer IV (Low-code developer) that has experience from a front-end and back-end web development perspective along with knowledge and experience in architecture design. The candidate should have exposure and/or experience for developing applications using a low-code development platform, setting up and configuring systems for each client's unique requirements and delivering technology solutions for web and/or mobile with minimal traditional coding needed.
The contractor will be working with four key elements: form builders, pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interface, entity builder along with researching and analyzing internal business processes with the scope of optimizing and automating them. The contractor will be building technology solutions like a software developer, but faster and smarter using productivity tools. The position will need to participate along with the Technical PM/Scrum Master in leading customer project engagements.
This contractor will perform data analysis, design, development, testing and implementation for task assignments using key principles, tools and processes such as specializing in software and problem diagnosis, leading and planning technical software implementation processes, and leading implementation activities.
Tools and techniques used in this position include, but are not limited to; basic SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, programming background in C# or Java or Python and/or .Net, knowledge of APIs and microservices and general general experieince of software integration. This position follows the life cycle methodologies and transformation to diagnose business requests and to decide what can be done with low-code instead of traditional coding (80/20 rule) thus being intuitive about how an idea can be turned to an actual working application using drag and drop visual environment.
This position will also require strong soft skills such as; productivity and performance focus, problem-solving skills and solution-oriented attitude, cross-functional teams clear communication, customer-oriented and a collaborative spirit, proactivity in automating processes, curious and a continuous hunger for learning new innovated ways using the low-code platform, analytical mind, creativity specifically the user interface and an open-minded attitude. This postion will function in an agile working practice, structured project management, and communication environment.
Under the direction of the BTM Manager and Business Architect, Low-Code Developer is responsible for performing task assignments to deliver technology solutions utlizing the low-code platform. This development strategy is imperative in order to meet the business demand of delivering efficient solutions using low-code as a technology solution thus supporting the business in a timely manner.
