Job Summary:
Kyyba Inc is a global company founded in 1998, specializing in providing high-quality resources and recruiting services. They are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to work on a new development project focused on managing customer data and creating a self-service system, utilizing Java and Python along with cloud services and databases.
Responsibilities:
• Work in the customer core space in EP tech space.
• Develop a system that stores and manages important customer information like email, phone number, and other attributes.
• Add new types of customer data and create a self-service system for easier attribute addition without heavy engineering effort.
• Focus on backend development using Java and Python, along with cloud services (AWS) and databases to build scalable and efficient systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in backend development using Java and Python
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS)
• Experience with databases, specifically Cassandra and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Ability to work in an Agile setup including standups, sprints, and retrospectives
Preferred:
• Location in Mclean is preferred
