Job description

IRG is in need of an Oracle Policy Automation in Lake Mary FL
12+ month Duration
Work location is Lake Mary, FL, candidate must be onsite Mon-Fri
26 week right to hire
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2-3 years of the following:
Project experience/expertise with OPA rule modeling including designing OPA rules, authoring OPA rules and testing OPA rules using Oracle Policy Modeling
Good understanding on OPA 12, OPA HUB, integration of OPA 12 rules with java
Excellent knowledge of XML and good knowledge of Java
Proficient in analyzing software requirements and documenting technical specifications for web applications / services
Two (+) years working with transactional database systems; i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
Experience with version control tools like VSS or CVS or SVN
Good understanding of build and deploy procedures
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Experience with JQuery or similar technologies are preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Working knowledge of any of the following is a plus: JSP, CSS, EJB, Servlets, JDBC, Logging mechanism (ex, Log4J), Eclipse development interface, SPY, Toad for Oracle, SQL Developer, JSF, JMS, JDBC, Java Transaction Management, Thread Management
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

Responsibilities/Expected Deliverable(s):
This candidate will be a key software developer responsible for designing and authoring business rules and must have strong technical knowledge with ability to interpret program policy and procedures and turn them into a logically structured set of OPA business rules. Responsibilities also include working with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications (primarily business rules). Not only will candidates be joining a project team, they will be joining a team of resources dedicated to delivering client engagements with a focus on common tools, technologies, and methodologies.
