Senior Software Engineer - Huntsville, AL
Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.
The Senior Software Engineer will display proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology. Capable of utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Solid foundation in, and application of, data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices. Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred. Develop ETL mappings to extract data from a source data system (databases, files, etc.), transform the data based on business requirements and load the data into a target data system (databases, files, etc.). Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements. Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed. Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment) of BI Dashboard and reports. Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle.
Requirements
  • Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility. This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Bachelor Degree in related field or in-lieu-of degree 4 additional years of experience.
  • At least eight (8+) years of Software Development experience.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and Microservices.
  • Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Robust decision-making skills.

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local market conditions, and candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. A reasonable salary range for this position is 100-180K.
