Job description

Job Summary – Senior Java Developer
- Java Development:
- 7–10 years of hands-on professional experience in Java backend development (preferably Java 21 and experience with version transitions).
- Outstanding expertise in Java (Java 8+), including I/O, multithreading/concurrency, collections, generics, and lambda expressions.
- Strong experience building RESTful APIs and working with Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
- Proficiency using build and test tools (Maven/Gradle, JUnit/Mockito, FitNesse).
- Knowledge of dependency injection and Spring Framework.
- Database Skills:
- Extensive experience with relational databases (preferably MS SQL).
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data modeling and working with XML and JSON data formats.
- DevOps/SDLC:
- Understanding of Docker containers and the development process.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins) for application build and deployment.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- AI & Python (Preferred):
- Exposure to AI research and development, including evaluating AI-assisted approaches and integrating AI into applications.
- Proficiency in Python, particularly for AI/ML development and automation.
- Application Upgrade (Preferred):
- Experience upgrading/migrating applications to Java 21 or recent LTS versions, including dependency management and compatibility testing.
