The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and operational support of the ServiceNow platform to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient service across the firm. This role serves as a point of contact for platform support, troubleshooting incidents, resolving configuration issues, monitoring system health, and platform standards. Working closely with firm clients, attorneys, practice group stakeholders, and the ServiceNow development team, the Administrator supports and maintains firm operational workflows by managing users, roles, groups, assignments, and configurations. This position balances responsive technical support with incremental development work, helping ensure the ServiceNow platform remains stable, scalable, and responsive to evolving firm needs. Essential functions include:

  • Provide administrative and technical support for ServiceNow workflows, ensuring reliable operation, proper configuration, and alignment with firm standards.
  • Configure and maintain workflows, forms, catalog items, UI policies, business rules, and reports, performing lightweight development and enhancements as needed to support operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a support resource for attorneys, practice groups, business managers, and internal teams by troubleshooting issues, resolving configuration defects, and answering platform related questions.
  • Assist with workflow optimization efforts by identifying configuration improvements, reducing manual steps, and supporting minor process enhancements using established architectural and governance guidelines.
  • Maintain and update workflow documentation, configuration notes, and support materials to ensure clarity and team best practices.
  • Monitor platform health and workflow performance, identify recurring issues or support trends.
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to support releases, upgrades, and enhancements, assisting with testing, deployment validation, and post release support.
  • Provide operational insights and recommendations based on support data, platform usage, and observed trends, and assist with implementing approved improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the Service Now platform including workflow development, system maintenance, and performing upgrades.
  • Proficiency in programming abilities with 3+ years of experience with one of many languages such as Java, .Net, C#, C++, SQL, Python, API’s, and SOAP/Rest Services.
  • Experience with RPA, Microsoft Power Apps, Flow, and Azure preferred.
  • The ability to work closely with the ServiceNow team and customers to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to upper management.

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
