Job Description

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Austin,TX

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or 10 years of software development experience

Minimum 5 years combined experience with Java programming language

Strong object oriented development experience

Development experience using Spring, JPA/Hibernate

Experience with REST and web services development

Experience with developing in UNIX/Linux environment and command-line

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Systems Engineering

Experience developing unit tests and implementing test automation

Experience with ESBs and message queues -- a big plus

Experience with Drools or other business rules engine

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Strong analytical and logic skills

Must excel at working with peers within a team environment

Track record of meeting project timelines and produce a high quality product.

Track record of taking individual initiative and accountability for assignments.

Track record of adapting to changing priorities.
