Job Title: Java Back-end Developer

Contract Period: 1 year

Work location: Plano, Texas

We are seeking an experienced Java Back-end Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable back-end solutions using Java and related technologies. The Back-end Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based back-end applications, services, and APIs.
  2. Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  3. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Implement and maintain database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance using Oracle SQL.
  5. Develop and consume RESTful web services to enable seamless integration with external systems.
  6. Utilize Spring framework and its various modules (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Batch) for building enterprise-level applications.
  7. Manage project dependencies and build processes using Maven.
  8. Work with version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration.
  9. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of back-end components.
