Duration: 6 month contract
Compensation Range: $65-$70/hour W2
Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Job Description:
Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise software solutions while setting technical standards and guiding development teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and design scalable, high-performing software solutions
  • Lead development efforts across front-end and back-end systems
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers
  • Define coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions
  • Design and implement cloud-based and distributed systems
  • Support production systems and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices
  • Participate in architecture reviews and technology selection
  • Ensure alignment with business needs and technical strategy

Requirements:

Must-Haves:
  • 10 years of software engineering experience (or 8 with Master's degree)
  • Strong experience with Java and Python
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with SOLR or similar search technologies
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm (3โ€“4 years)
  • Strong background in distributed systems and scalable architecture
  • Experience with REST APIs, web services, and microservices architecture
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with UI frameworks (Angular, React, Ember, Bootstrap)
